Lady Ellen Hare Quilt
In 1934
Capper's Weekly published the quilt Lady Eleanor. It was
named for Eleanor Roosevelt. Ladies saved the scraps
from their little girl's dresses to use in the quilt as her skirt.
Now I would like you to meet Lady Ellen Hare. She is very
busy gathering carrots for a stew to feed her family. She
also has many skirts from scraps. Hope you have as much fun
making her as I did designing her.
Make the full size quilt or make a twin quilt.
Would make darling pillows.
